  1. I take magnesum before going to bed, one teaspoon with a glass of slightly warm water, it helps relaxing and make me sleep through the night in a way that I was not able anymore. It’s a real saviour for people like me that have problems to fall asleep in a regular manner.

  2. That’s a lot of good reason to take this mineral as supplement to your diet but, is there any side effects or are there any known issues associated with the persistent intake?

    1. It must be remembered that abusing supplements is never good. In fact, there are many side effects due to a magnesium overdose. They are similar to those that occur in the event of a deficiency, but occur more frequently and more seriously. They include:

      -Changes in mental status
      -Loss of appetite
      -Muscle weakness
      -Respiratory difficulties
      -Low pressure

      So, before beginning to take any supplement, in case of doubts, especially regarding the dosage, it is always advisable to consult a doctor.
